Checkout Checkout
I’ve been beta testing a neat little Mac application called Checkout. It’s not in public beta yet, so I can’t tell you too much about it, other than what you can read about on their site.
I’m excited to finally see someone stepping up to the plate to try to create an elegant point of sale system full of Mac-y Goodness™. There is big competition, but most professional solutions are for Windows only. I keep thinking that an iMac or a Mac mini pared with a really well-done piece of software would be a very fast and stable combination for the relatively un-comuter-savvy retail store owner.
The public beta is supposed to be available this month, so keep your eyes peeled!
