Ear Whacks
Today my daughter asked me why “they” are called earwax. I was driving, so absent-mindedly answered, “I don’t know.” She responded:
“Maybe it’s because they come out of your ear and then they whack you.”

Ha! That’s hilarious! It’s so funny that she heard it that way. I’ve heard that word a thousand billion times and never heard it as ear whacks. I love it!
